About Us

The Salmon River Fine Arts Center, a not-for-profit organization staffed by volunteer members, is dedicated to the creation and appreciation of the fine arts through continual gallery shows, classes and workshops. Below are details of our mission, activities, facilities, and membership.

Our Mission

To enrich and educate our community through sharing and displaying fine arts in our non-profit gallery space, and offering workshops, studio space and classes that promote artistic expression, engage the energy and creativity of local artists, and inspire the novice.

    Open to both non-members and members; entry fee applies.

Gallery Hours

  • Wednesday – Friday: noon — 4 pm
  • Saturday: 10 am — 2 pm

Or you can stop by, see our artwork, and make a contribution in person. (We are a-not-for-profit organization (IRC 501(C)(3)) and contributions are tax deductible as permitted by law.)

We are very grateful for funding from New York State Council on the Arts and CNY Arts, a regional arts council. Many of our programs are made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by CNY Arts.
