Our Shows

The Oswego County Student Art Show & Competition will be in our gallery from April 11 - May 6 and can be seen during open hours and by appointment. You can make an appointment by emailing sr.fine.arts.ctr@gmail.com or calling and leaving a message: 315-298-7007. Social distancing and mask wearing are required at the arts center for everyone’s safety.

Each year the Salmon River Fine Arts Center offers non-professional artists an opportunity to enter artworks in our Edward Jones Sunday Artist Show and Competition, held at the Salmon River Fine Arts Center. This is a great opportunity to present work for competition and display in our gallery. If you are a non-professional artist, you are invited to submit works for this show; you do not need to be a member of the Fine Arts Center. Digital images of artwork are due by May 8, 2:00 pm; physical artwork must be submitted May 6 - 8, during open hours. To avoid large gatherings, the awards ceremony will be held via FaceBook Live at 1 pm, Sunday, May 16. The show will be exhibited in the Salmon River Fine Arts Center gallery May 16 - June 9.

This summer we are featuring our Members Summer Show, a collection of fine artwork created by our very talented Fine Arts Center members. The exhibition will be from June 17 - August 18 in the Fine Arts Center. If you are a member, please consider showing your work in this event. You are invited to participate in the second annual “Hooked on the Salmon River Juried Art Exhibition,” a themed exhibition that celebrates fishing and the beauty of the Salmon River. The exhibit was developed to feature work from the region’s fine artists inspired by this beautiful and swift-flowing river that runs through the small historic village of Pulaski, drawing fishermen, nature enthusiasts and tourists from all over the globe. All styles and genres of fine art and fine craft will be accepted from both emerging and established artists 18 and older. Artwork must have been completed in the last two years. The submission dates are August 19 - 21, and the exhibit will be on display from August 27 - October 27 at the Salmon River Fine Arts Center.

Please join us for our annual silent auction on September 25. As always, our auction will feature artworks done by talented local artists as well as some amazing gift baskets and gift certificates from area merchants. This event is a wonderful opportunity to treat yourself to something unique and support your arts center at the same time.  All donations and proceeds will help fund the center so that it may continue to be available to the community.
