6 x 6 Community Art Show & FUNdraiser 2026

Upcoming Show

Exhibition April 16 - May 16

You and the whole community are invited to make 6 x 6-inch pieces of art for our annual 6 x 6 Community Art Show FUNdraiser. You don't need to be an artist to create. Any age, any medium — as long as it is 6-inches by 6-inches. Not sure what to make? We are lining up 6 x 6 classes in March to help you create!  Check our class offerings for opportunities. All art submitted is donated to the center and will be for sale at the gallery and on our Square site.

Exhibition dates. The 6x6 Community Art Show begins April 16 and ends May 16.

General guidelines for 6x6 entries. Here are some general guidelines to get you started. Check back for our prospectus and entry forms and tags.

  • • Participation is free to anyone—any age.
  • • All artwork must be exactly six inches square, measured from the outside of the piece including any mat or frame.
  • • 2-D or 3-D work welcome, any material or media. (Mat or frame not required.)
  • • Artwork must be ready to hang by hook or push pins. (If using a framed canvas, wire should be installed in the back for a hook.)
  • • Artwork must be submitted with an entry form, and an artwork tag must be attached to each entry. Download forms and tags from our website. These will be available soon.
  • • Artwork is to be signed only on the back to keep the work anonymous! (The artist’s name will be revealed upon purchase.)
  • • If you want entries shown together in a certain order, please number the back of the work from left to right.
  • • Artwork will remain on display until the exhibition ends.
  • • Any unsold work will be returned to the artists with our thanks after the exhibit! (Artwork not picked up after 30 days becomes the property of the Salmon River Fine Arts Center.)

Don’t know what to make? Take one or more of our 6 x 6 classes in March. See our class listings for all classes.
