Exhibition Dates: August 29 - October 19

We are proudly presenting our fifth annual “Hooked on the Salmon River,” a themed exhibition that celebrates fishing and the beauty of the Salmon River. The exhibit was developed to feature work from the region’s fine artists inspired by this beautiful and swift-flowing river that runs through the small historic village of Pulaski, drawing fishermen, nature enthusiasts and tourists from all over the globe.

All styles and genres of fine art and fine craft will be accepted from both emerging and established artists 18 and older. Artwork must have been completed in the last two years.

Prospectus, entry form and tags. Please read the Art Exhibition Prospectus for detailed information on guidelines and requirements, awards announcement, entry procedure, and entry form and tags.

Application deadline. Friday, August 9.

Notification of acceptance. Artists will be notified via email of acceptance into the show on Friday, August 16.

Submit artwork. The dates to hand deliver artwork are August 22 - August 24, gallery hours, or by scheduled appointment.

Opening reception and awards ceremony. The opening reception will be held at the Arts Center on Thursday, August 29, 6 - 8 pm; the awards ceremony begins at 7 pm.

Exhibition. The exhibition will be from August 29 - October 19 in the Fine Arts Center and can be seen during gallery hours.

Pick up art. Artwork can be picked up October 24 - 26 during gallery hours or by scheduled appointment.

Juror for show: Patricia A. Tanner

Pat Tanner studied painting and drawing in the NYC area. (Cesare Borgia Art School in Westchester and Reilly League of Artists from 1974 – 1976; painting, drawing, and sculpture under Michael Aviano in NYS from 1980 – 1986; and the New York Academy of Art in NYC in 1990.) Pat has been involved with the Salmon River Fine Arts Center since 1993 in several roles including volunteer, teacher and executive director at the art center. She is currently on the board of directors.
