Sunday Artists Show & Competition 2025

Upcoming Exhibition

Exhibition Dates: May 08 - June 14

The “Sunday Artists” Show is an annual exhibit featuring original work of amateurs, emerging artists, and semi-professional artists (those not making a livelihood with their art). To make judging more equitable, there will be cash awards for the three levels. The purpose of this show is to inspire and give individuals the opportunity to engage with other artists and have their artwork publicly exhibited and professionally judged. You do not need to be a member of the Fine Arts Center to enter this show. This exhibition is hosted by the Salmon River Fine Arts Center in the historic village of Pulaski, NY.

Judging and Awards. Work is judged on originality and creativity, aesthetic quality and visual impact, technical skills and craftsmanship. Cash prizes will be awarded for best of category for each level listed below. Additional prizes will be awarded based on the number of entries received.

Artwork will be judged based on three category levels:

  • Amateur Level 1. Does not have a website; has never won in a juried show.
  • Emerging Artist Level 2. Trying to establish themselves as artists (may sell to friends).
